The residence is located on a picturesque site, on the shore of the Kyiv reservoir bypass canal. The main design idea implies maximum of natural light along with the rational modesty of shape and color, which was made possible by building it single-floor. The indoor-outdoor relationship is achieved due to the openness towards the scenery, which is incorporated it into the interior. The leading role in the interior design belongs to the interior staircase, designed as an art object. Its structure is assembled from concrete and metal, which together create an elaborate composition. The project has been awarded the Voluta prize by the NUUA.
